Defense Logistics Agency Finance (J8) has awarded Electrosoft a follow-on Audit Support Services contract to continue providing expert audit guidance, assistance, and subject matter expertise that advances DLA J8 program management office financial statement and audit goals.
“We are honored to continue supporting the DLA J8 audit mission,” said Mike Tillman, COO of Electrosoft. “This follow-on award underscores our team’s deep understanding of DLA’s business systems, technology infrastructure, and mission-critical objectives. We deeply value DLA’s trust in our ability to deliver results that enhance financial compliance and operational excellence.”
DLA J8 operates in 11 Financial Management offices, encompassing over 600 personnel. Under this contract, the Electrosoft team will continue consulting and preparing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and performing related analyses required by DLA to effectively manage the program. The team also evaluates Notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) for relevance to Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), emerging Information Technology (IT) initiatives, and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) processes.
This contract also includes consulting, advising, and research related to Service-Owned Items in DLA Custody (SOIDC), supporting the SOIDC PMO in all activities required to develop and execute a comprehensive Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM). These efforts prepare DLA for a favorable SOIDC audit engagement.
The DLA J8 program reinforces Electrosoft’s commitment to supporting DLA’s Office of the CFO and builds on its long-standing support of the DLA Office of the CIO.
